West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee skipped Friday’s meeting of CMs with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the COVID-19 situation, sources said.

Chief Secretary Alapan Bandyopadhyay represented their country at the inspection meeting, that had been held via videoconference, ” they said.

Banerjee had early in the day skipped several similar encounters because she had been busy campaigning to its continuing assembly elections.
