He had been admitted to this hospital (such as its followup procedure) on Tuesday day,” Malik said.

Malik said Pawar,” 80, is recovering.

Pawar had experienced laparoscopic surgery (a minimally invasive procedure) in his gallbladder at a medical facility on April 1-2.

He was released on April 1-5.
