A BJP delegation on Monday approached Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari seeking dismissal of Minority Affairs Minister Nawab Malik from their country cabinet for increasing an”baseless” allegation that the Centre had obstructed the distribution of Remdesivir shots into their nation. BJP MLA Atul Bhatkhalkar, that headed the delegation, told colleagues that Malik strove to create skepticism among individuals in regards to the Centre by making such allegations.

  • Malik on Saturday tweeted:”It’s shocking and sad that if Government of Maharashtra asked 16 export organizations such as Remdesivir, we were told that the Central administration has asked them never to furnish the medicine into Maharashtra. These organizations were cautioned, should they didtheir permit would be cancelled”.
    “It is really a dangerous precedent and under such conditions, the local will not have any option but to grab the stock of Remdesivir from those exporters and furnish it for the destitute,” he’d said in yet another tweet.
