Former India captain Sachin Tendulkar on Saturday said he’s recovered out of COVID-19 and certainly will contribute plasma if he could be eligible.

Tendulkar, celebrating his 48th birthday Saturday, tested positive to the herpes virus March 27 and needed to be temporarily hospitalised here as a preventative step.

“I’d love to provide an email, that your doctors have said to provide. This past year, I’d inaugurated a plasma donation centre along with also their message, even when plasma screen is provided at the ideal time, patients may recover faster,” Tendulkar said in a video published with his Twitter tackle.

“I , if permissible, will contribute it and I’ve talked to the doctors,” he added.

Tendulkar have been at home isolation once he had been discharged from hospital on April 8.

A donor must have no signs of this illness for 14 days before plasma contribution.

The mythical right-wing batsman appealed to those that have recovered in COVID-19 to contribute their own plasma screen, to help others.

“and also you , who’ve regained from COVID-19, ask your physician when permissible, please contribute bloodstream, it may decrease a great deal of issues.

“we all know very well what issues our family , friends possess, till we’re unwell,” added the legendary participant.

Normally, the given plasma COVID regained patients can be useful for treatment for those patients that are positive for the herpes virus.

Tendulkar also thanked the doctors to keep him at a positive mindset throughout his treatment.

“Your prayers and good wishes, my loved ones prayers and good dreams, friends, continue but not least, all of physicians and the team together with them, that they kept me at a positive mindset and helped me regain. An enormous thanks for you all,” he explained.
