Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited, that conducts on a 7.3 million tonnes per year steel plant , will supply more than 100 tonnes of Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) into Maharashtra from early hours on April 22, sources in RINL said on Wednesday.

The LMO is going to be full of seven vacant cryogenic tankers using a total carrying capacity of over 100 tonnes.

It could take not quite 20 to twenty four hours to finish the procedure for completing, weighing safety tests according to routine until it renders to Maharashtra to match up with the medical exigencies of all COVID-19 patients,” they said.

The Air Separation Plant (ASP) at RINL-Vizag Steel contains five components of oxygen extraction plants, both which three will be of 550tonnesand one different twoof 600 tonnes per day capacity.

Generally, daily, ASP produces 2,600 tonnes of oxygen gas and 100 tonnes of liquid oxygen.

RINL has supplied approximately 400 tonnes of LMO a week to various destinations in Andhra Pradesh and other nations as educated by the Centre.
