There isn’t any catastrophe of medi cal oxygen in West Bengal and their country has sufficient inventory of this life-saving gas, a senior local official said following an inspection meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on the present spike in COVID-19 cases.

There’s”no concern about any emergency in air” right now as their country has a regular average production of 457 MT of this petrol where as the condition is near to 223 MT every day, ” the state said.

“There isn’t any catastrophe of health oxygen from West Bengal. We’ve got sufficient storage of their petrol. Therefore there isn’t any issue of any emergency,” he told PTI.

The nation is also likely to begin supplying oxygen to hospitals chiefly treating COVID-19 patients, ” he explained.

The inspection interview revealed there are always a complete 20,000 beds at the private and also the more rigorous clinical establishments to deal with corona patients at their country, ” the state said.

Banerjee maintained the inspection meeting at the country secretariat after the state Election Commission gave the nod to it.

Chief secretary Alapan Bandyapadhyay, dwelling secretary H K Dwidevi and health secretary NS Nigam had been present in the meeting,” official sources said.
