Former West Bengal chief minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharya has tested positive for COVID-19 and doctors have advised him to function as in dwelling isolationand health department sources supported.

The wife of 77-year-old Bhattacharya,” Mi Ra Bhattacharya, also tested positive for the disease, following that she had been admitted to a city hospital late Tuesday evening,” they said.

“Swab examples of Buddhadeb Bhattacharya, his spouse as well as their heirs were collected that this afternoon and so they tested positive for this disorder,” a source said on Tuesday.
