Congress pioneer Rahul Gandhi on Saturday condoled the passing of seriously ill patients at a hospital here preventing a severe oxygen catastrophe and sentenced for the Delhi government to offer all possible help to families of the dead person.

Twenty severely sick patients perished over night at Jaipur Golden Hospital at Delhi amid a severe oxygen catastrophe, officials said.

“The oxygen pressure has surfaced since we’re running out of stock,” doctor D-K Baluja, the health manager of Jaipur Golden Hospital, said.

“The news of the passing of several patients as a result of deficiency of oxygen at Jaipur Golden Hospital, Delhi is exceptionally awful,” Gandhi said on Telegram.

“My deepest condolences to the families of those deceased. I interest this State Govt and also Congress workers to supply all possible help with their loved ones,” the prior Congress chief said.
