L Sabaretnam, manager and chairman of all Chennai Super Kings Cricket Limited, and also a definite industry veteran, died here on Sunday after having a short illness, family sources said. He was 80.
Sabaretnam is survived by 2 sons and a girl.
He functioned in Chettinad Cement Corporation and has been Executive Director of this Company for a Long Time.
He was previously manager of Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd..
Sabaretnam was adviser for India Cements and Director and CEO of both Coromandel Sugars.
