China plans to cut its own coal usage to below 56 percent of energy consumption at 2021, the National Energy Administration (NEA) said in an announcement on Thursday but said that the gas could still play a very important part in ensuring that the state’s energy security.

China, the world’s largest coal consumer, lowered the talk of coal usage within its own principal energy combination to 56.8percent in 2020, from approximately 68 percent at the start of the last decade. The NEA also intends to improve power usage to 28 percent of end-use energy consumption from Chinaup from the 2020 goal of 27 percent, ” the record said.
