Assam DGP Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta said,”In relation to the abduction of 3 ONGC employees from Lakwa around 21.04.2021, three men are detained so much that are shown to become directly engaged with the event along with a others related to the banned organisation”

In string of discussion said,”Investigation indicates participation of just 1 police employees so much but anybody found indirectly or directly associated with cases like this would be dealt with as law. All pertinent details are bound to emerge on debriefing of this apprehended Basanta Buragohain”

He stated,”Assam Police will save no culprit engaged within this case.Meanwhile attempt to follow and rescue the victim out of Ulfa custody remains moving on.”

Outlawed United Liberation Front of Asom (Independent) militants had earlier maintained that it’s published two ONGC employees contested by ensemble and suspects third-party’s”murdering” in shooting or being concealed from security forces.

About 21st April that the employees were abducted by the job on sitemap website of ONGC located within Lakwa T.E. Cholapather grant under Sivasagar district.
