Pakistan has agreed to give relief aid, including ventilators, to India to help the country fight the lethal tide of COVID-19 and said both states can research potential methods of further collaboration to mitigate the obstacles posed by the outbreak.

The Foreign Office at an announcement late Saturday night said Pakistan was willing to ship certain items immediately once the methods were resolved out.

“As a gesture of solidarity with those of India in the aftermath of the present tide of COVID-19, Pakistan has agreed to give aid support to India including ventilators,” B I PAP, digital xray machines, PPEs and associated products,” according to this announcement.

It stated that the police concerned of Pakistan and India may exercise modalities for quick delivery of their aid items. “They (government ) may additionally research potential methods of further collaboration to mitigate the challenges posed by the outbreak,” it also said.

The deal has been made after Prime Minister Imran Khan voiced solidarity with those of India combating the lethal tide of this outbreak, saying”we should fight this international struggle facing humankind together”.

At an tweet,” Khan said:”Our prayers for a speedy recovery go to all of those afflicted by the pandemic within our area and the world”.

Many Pakistanis, for example political leaders, sports stars, took to Twitter to give prayers and good wishes for those of India.
