The CBI is taking out investigations in former Maharashtra house ministry Anil Deshmukh‘s house and additional locations on Saturday when it filed a case against him regarding the allegations of corruption. )

A group of those Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had came at Nagpur on Friday night and found searches on Saturday afternoon, sources at the bureau said.

Deshmukh’s dwelling in Nagpur is located at GPO Square at Civil Lines area.

The CBI team can be very likely to go to Katol town, Deshmukh’s constituency, located across 60 kms from Nagpur, ” they said.

The CBI has filed an FIR against Deshmukh after taking a preliminary enquiry on the orders of the Bombay High Court to research the allegations of bribery against him levelled by former Mumbai police commissioner Param Bir Singh.

Even the CBI can be undertaking searches in a range of locations, for example Deshmukh’s assumptions in Mumbai.

Deshmukh had resigned as a ministry earlier this month after the superior court asked the CBI to probe the allegations against him.
