The ‘corona curfew‘ imposed in Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh to sort out the surge in COVID-19 instances has been prolonged until April 26, an official mentioned on Saturday.

Bhopal on Saturday recorded 1,669 COVID-19 instances, taking the toll right here to 66,891.

Bhopal’s corona curfew, the state authorities’s time period for the restrictions wanting a lockdown imposed in a number of cities, was set to finish on April 19.

It has been prolonged in Bhopal and Berasia until 6am on April 26, an order by Collector Avinash Lavaniya mentioned.

Important companies might be exempted from the corona curfew and other people arriving within the metropolis or leaving by rail, bus and many others is not going to be inconvenienced, officers mentioned.
